Good Afternoon Readers,
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas ....... and did you all see the New Year in with a bang....... we did, as my regular readers will know, I worked all of Christmas and New year, so I saw the New Year in with friends at work, and it certainly went with a bang .... as dead on Midnight, there was an almighty crash of thunder and the sky lit up with lightning...... it was pretty amazing to see, but the spooky thing was the time ...... we have all come to the conclusion that it was relatives and friends who are sadly no longer with us, all getting together to wish us a Happy New Year the only way they can !!!!! So that's it for another year ....... well what about this weather, it's pretty grim here in my little corner of Cornwall...... the rain has been pretty heavy, and the wind is so strong, I went up the yard as usual this morning, at first I thought it was going to be an OK day.... how wrong was I, on the drive over to the yard there was lighting, and I had not been at the yard for long when the heaven's opened up, and it poured down, hailstones as well, so I held of for a bit before I took the dogs for a walk on the fields, but when we did finally get on to the fields the wind was so strong I could hardly stand up, and then yes you've guessed it down came the rain again..... so we all made a hasty retreat to the truck, all of us soaking wet, not even my water proofs could hold it out it was so bad..... horses didn't go out either, I am glad to say.....
well have not done much in the way of crafting, well not that I can display in advance that is, but I needed to make a Birthday card for my friend Kath at work, and my card is below,
I hope she likes it......
